Coaching Ira Now Available!
“The new phone book’s here, the new phone book’s here!” Yes, I feel just as excited as Steve Martin’s Navin R. Johnson character in that classic piece of 80’s cinema, “The Jerk”. When the new phone book’s arrived, Navin looked up his name, saw that it was published and realized that he was “somebody”. I know how Navin feels. Now that Coaching Ira is ready for the world to read, I too, feel like a somebody — a somebody who has published a full-length work of fiction.
The good people at Xlibris, my publisher, have told me that the book is immediately ready for sale on their website. Cost is $17.95. For you loyal Amazons, Barnes and Nobeliers and Boderators, it will still be a month or so before Ira hits those online stores.
The book is right now in the process of being registered with the Ingram Distribution Center, the largest book distribution center in the world. Once the book is registered, you can purchase Coaching Ira from your favorite online shop. Or, if you are still not comfortable with e-commerce and don’t like buying stuff online, you can call Xlibris at 1-888-7XLIBRIS, which can be done now, or visit your local bookseller when the book is registered with Ingram, and have them place the order. Check back every so often for when bookstores will make the book available to you.
I will be spending the next few weeks getting the word out and visiting bookstores to try to get some distribution going. So if you see me in your town with a megaphone to my mouth and a giant Coaching Ira sandwich board over my shoulders, you’ll know what’s up.
